Are you looking to meet with an experienced Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Therapist near you?

From September 2023, we will have clinics available in different locations around Ireland where families can have an in-person consultation with one of our Lead Therapists.

Our registered and highly experienced therapists will complete an observational screening** during this time with your child while also spending time speaking with you to get a clear understanding of the challenges you may be facing. 

We use a strengths based approach at Gabadoo and we're focused on family centred goal setting. Our clinics will operate in a new way, making them more efficient so we can support more families achieve their goals.

What happens during the consultation?

Your consultation can be with an Occupational Therapist or a Speech and Language Therapist. Joint consultations are also available in certain locations.

Consultations are 45 minutes in total with approximately 30 minutes spent working with your child and the remainder of the time is spent speaking with you to put a plan in place.

After the consultation your therapist will spend time formulating your intervention plan so you know exactly what your options are going forward.

What happens after the consultation? 

1. Our therapist will formulate your intervention plan outlining exactly how to support your child going forward and what regular supports we can provide you with through Gabadoo.
2. You will receive a follow-up call from us two to three weeks after your consultation to check-in on progress.

Can I book in for regular in-person consultations?

We can offer weekly or monthly support online with the possibility of in-person check ins when possible.
