Who are the Gabadoo Experts?

Our goal at Gabadoo is to bring highly skilled developmental experts together on one platform, creating a global virtual team.

We want Allied Health professionals to be able to support more families by using our innovative software that provides them with the tools, features and resources they need to be as effective as possible.

The Gabadoo Expert Team is made up of experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapists and Paediatric Speech and Language Therapists, with many other professions joining over the coming months including Dieticians, Physiotherapists and more. At present (November 2021), all of the developmental experts on Gabadoo are registered in either Ireland or the United Kingdom with families receiving support from a registered professional in their region.

Using Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and other Allied Health professions in a preventative role can bring enormous benefits to every child's development, not just those who have delays or a diagnosis.

The wealth of knowledge that these professionals hold is incredible. We have loved chatting to every one of them about their experiences, their ethos around supporting families, the synergies created by bringing professionals together, and most importantly, how we can make Gabadoo a valuable platform for the families who use it.

Gabadoo has brought many developmental experts back into the workforce who had either recently retired, were on a break due to family commitments or are pursuing doctorates in their field.

Our goal is to significantly reduce the long waiting lists that many families face when it comes to accessing support from these experts, but also make it a place that all families can get support, whether it is for the day to day developmental questions e.g handwriting, bedtime routines and motor skills, or the more complex concerns for children who may have developmental delays.
