Amy is a specialist Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience supporting autistic and neurodivergent children and young people across health and education settings in Ireland and New Zealand, including as a Clinical Lead SLT with the NCSE.
Through our online consultation clinic for schools and families across Ireland, Amy offers specialist support around speech, language and communication needs. Consultations can be used to gain general advice and understanding, explore communication supports within a specific classroom, or reflect on the needs of an individual student.
Areas of support may include Gestalt Language Processing, AAC, Lámh, communication access, classroom design and neurodiversity-affirming communication supports.
This service works particularly well alongside our existing Occupational Therapy support, helping schools and families look more holistically at participation, regulation and communication.

Consultations can also be used for informal staff training and practical advice around areas such as total communication, neurodiversity-affirming practice, Gestalt Language Processing, visuals, AAC and communication access.
