Book a 45-minute online consultation with a Senior Occupational Therapist and leave with practical strategies you can put into action right away. We can support you with understanding sensory needs, embedding neuro-affirmative practices, adapting demands and environments, supporting behaviours, catering for motor differences & supporting overall well-being.
We partner with parents and schools for consistent, lasting support. Advocating for your child in school isn’t always easy. We help you navigate the process, break down the lingo, and ensure your child’s needs are clearly understood.
"When we started Gabadoo, our goal was simple — to make Occupational Therapy accessible, practical, and relevant for the everyday challenges families and schools face. As an OT, I’ve seen first-hand how the right strategies can transform not just a child’s learning and confidence, but the wellbeing of whole families and classrooms. My passion is to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and real-life needs, so that parents, teachers, and communities feel supported every step of the way.”

We honor each resident's individuality, dignity, and life experiences in every interaction.
We foster a sense of belonging and connection, creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
This depends on the support you are looking for. We can schedule an online consultation within a few days typically, sometimes as little as 24hours.
We always start with an online consultation as a huge amount can be achieved in this time. After this if you and the OT feel in-person would be beneficial, we can arrange a screening at our clinic in Limerick.
Yes, all of our OTs are Senior Level and have up to date insurance and registration.
We support school-teams on a daily basis. We have a specific package tailored to combining home and school support which you will see on our homepage. We can discuss this option over the phone. We start with an online consultation with your child's school-team which can be followed up by an in-person school visit if deemed necessary.
You can book your initial online consultation directly through the website and details of how to access your consultation will be emailed to you after booking.

- Understanding Diagnoses and strengths-based supports.
This is not a diagnostic assessment. Instead, our strengths-based screening is a gentle and collaborative way to understand each child or young person and the unique abilities they bring. Rather than focusing on deficits or using standardised tests, we explore how they naturally engage in everyday life — at home, in school, and in play.
The screening includes:
A consultation with parents or carers, and where relevant, with school staff and the young person themselves
An in-person observation of motor skills, sensory processing, and specific skill areas in real-life contexts
Development of a clear strengths-based profile that highlights abilities, interests, and supportive strategies
Practical, tailored recommendations for home and school environments
Guidance on further referrals or additional supports, if needed
Consideration of underlying needs, including possible neurodivergent profiles that may not yet have been recognised, with clear guidance if a formal diagnostic assessment may be appropriate
Optional handwriting screening to explore whether assistive technology could support participation and access to learning
This process provides a positive foundation for growth, focusing on what already works well and creating strategies that honour each child’s individuality, strengths, and ways of being in the world.
